This Jane & Gordon Martz lamp for Marshall Studios is in good original condition. There are a couple thin lines in the lamp (pictured) that would have been part of the original process while making the lamp (they would take a metal rib to remove the white glaze exposing the clay). Jan and Gordon Martz daughter said "The line you see is from the metal rib and those marks would occasionally appear on lamps (not considered a second I'm sure)". There is also some slight discoloration and marks by the plug (pictured). The shade shows well for its age with minor wear (pictured). The lamp is beautiful and we love all the original imperfections.
