He completed his formation by working as a drawer for the fashion designer, Madeleine Vionnet. He created for her, from 1925 to 1930, the design of her various houses. In this period, he met and worked with J. M. Frank, Pierre Chareau and Jean Dunand, but he also created furniture himself. From his numerous creations, the lightings were the most famous. In 1927, already, during his participation to the ‘Salon des Artistes Décorateurs’ and to the ‘Salon d’Automne’, he presented some lightings which immediately seduced the public: his perfect use of glass and metal, fitted to chandelier, sconces and lamps.
