About the Item
Vintage blown glass table lamp from the 1980s. Signed Novaro. Recently rewired for the USA with a candelabra socket and a clear cord.
Jean-Claude Novaro, 1943 - 2014, was a master glass maker in France. Considered one the the greatest glass artists of the 20th century, he achieved the title of master glassmaker at the age of 20. Novaro pioneered many techniques including glow in the dark glass, and painting between layers of glass. This lamp is from a collection influenced by Art Deco design.
