Large 1950s glass and brass tripod floor or table lamp attributed to Stilnovo. A quintessentially 1960s Italian design executed in opaline glass and brass. A sculptural and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian design at its highest level.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.
Wired for US with black cord, on/off switch and period styled wall plug. Accommodates a single 100W equivalent US e26 medium base bulb (lower with incandescent). Some patination, dings and scuffs as largely seen in photos and noted only for accuracy. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
