Large Antique Hand Carved Corinthian Gilted Table Lamp

An antique Corinthian style hand carved gilt wood table lamp.
Decorated with acanthus leaves and foliage.
Corinthian columns are the most attractive of the 4 different types of Roman columns because of the way they are decorated.
Most probably converted to electricity at the beginning of the 1900s.
Brass and porcelain lamp holder with an on/off switch.
Brass shade holder.
Rewired with gold twisted cloth flex.
Double insulated flex through the brass fitting on the neck.
New black baize applied to the base.
In great antique condition with age related wear.
Classic English country house style .
Can be fitted with an EU UK or US electrical plug .
