Hand-crafted by Amitābha Studio, this table lamp pairs a large 1948 Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) hand-painted vase with a warm dark terracotta pleated-silk lampshade, adding warmth and depth. This Delft blue-and-white ceramic table lamp shows classic layered cobalt brushwork—dense blooms and songbirds with tonal depth, crisp outlines, and the soft shading only a master painter achieves. The floral-and-bird tableau carries quiet notes of renewal, harmony, and abundance, making it a thoughtful focal point or statement piece.
Authenticity is fully documented: maker’s marks on the base include the 1948 date code, the painter’s initials, and the De Porceleyne Fles factory symbol, placing the piece firmly in Royal Delft’s lineage. De Porceleyne Fles—later given the distinction “Koninklijke” (“Royal”) and now known as Royal Delft—is a Dutch manufacturer of Delft Blue pottery. Established in 1653 in Delft, the Netherlands, it is the only remaining ceramics factory of the 32 founded there in the 17th century. With over 360 years of uninterrupted activity, Royal Delft is highly respected for its artistry, drawing inspiration from Chinese porcelain motifs of the Ming and K’ang Hsi dynasties.
