Large Mid-Century Tripod Table Lamp in Brass and Teak

About the Item

A large mid-century modern teak tripod table lamp. The body of the lamp is turned teak. The three legs are brass and fitted with teak shoes. All of the teak has been sanded and waxed. The brass legs are untouched and have age related patina. The lamp has the original Bakelite bulb holder and adjustable lamp shade holder. The lamp has been rewired with twisted black cloth flex and fitted with a new black inline on/off switch. The flex is insulated where it passes through a brass collar on the lamp so no need to be grounded. And to top off this amazing lamp is a lampshade made from original vintage material designed by the Finnish designer Maija Isola in 1973. The design is large Daisies on a black background. These lampshades are unique and are produced in a very limited number
