About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of vintage Italian Carrara Marble & Brass Roman Corinthian Pillared table lamps. These lamps came from a very fine antiques dealer in Belgium, he has a client that purchases antique Italian lighting to import to the US which its where this set came from, I also bought six or seven other very different and unique table lamps from him, all of which are listed under my other items This pair are large for the type, are twice the size of normal corinthian pillared lamps, its rare to find them as a mixture of marble and brass, usually its one or the other which can look a little bland, the combination of colours really works well The condition is sublime, we have fully restored and rewired them, they are ready to go! There will be age and use related patina here and there, as they are glass it’s all very desirable. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
