Large Scale Lamp by Otto Kolb
About the Item
A super rare overstayed table or desk lamp by Otto Kolb, circa 1960. Featuring a tubular brass structure and an ebonized spherical sliding joint which when moved changes the pivot of the lamp. While not found in any known Kolb publications, the design was authenticated by his daughter from drawings found in his archives. His lamps usually were smaller and employed wooden feet this one has spherical cast brass feet and a trailing rear leg instead if his normal straight leg. Please note that pricing reflects this being a very rare lamp and the website compares it to more common production ones.
