About the Item
Handsome vintage neoclassic brass lion desk lamp with rectangular black cardboard shade with gold trim, diffuser in the shade, black cord with inline switch, brass plated stem, brass lion and finial, and black painted wood base. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. It is comprised of a magnificent sculpted or figural brass lion resting upon a three-tiered rectangular base including a center tier with egg and dart molded edges and a black painted wood base. The lamp is low, and it has a diffuser under the rectangular black and gold trimmed shade which ensures more focused lighting and an inline switch on the black cord. The stem is brass plated, and the finial is brass. It is neoclassical in style with a Hollywood Regency flair and is sure to create a powerful vibe upon the desk in your home office, study, or den.
