About the Item

This large and impressive lamp was done by the Duffner & Kimberly Co. ca. 1910. They made some of the most impressive leaded glass lamps of the period. They were the chief competitor of Tiffany Studios. Also located in New York. This particular lamp was the "Adams" and can be found on page 204, bottom right in the book "Mosaic Shades Volume II " by Paul Crist. I am a big lover of these lamps and I was happy to volunteer 19 of my lamps to be pictured in this book. Richly colored glass and a complicated geometric pattern highlight this shade. To top it off the handsome gilt bronze base was specifically made for this shade and it bears the company signature. A very special lamp for any home. We have enjoyed it in our home for the last 20+ years.

Leaded Glass Floral Table Lamp by Lamb Bros., Napanee Indiana, ca. 1915
By Lamb Bros.
Located in Petaluma, CA
A very nice clean example of a leaded glass table lamp from the early part of the 20th century. The lamp was made by Lamb Bros. The ring on the top of the shade was done by Lamb Bros. The heat cap and finial are also the work of Lamb Bros. It's an antique leaded glass made famous by Tiffany. The floral shade is colorful and has just a couple, (I see just 2) that are closed and secure, not uncommon on these lamps. The condition is actually amazing as it has no broken tiles. The base is very art nouveau and a particularly nice example. A really nice antique lamp...
