Maison Charles Brass and Bronze Agave a Gorge Table Lamp--All Original
About the Item
This is a beautiful example of Maison Charles' Agave a Gorge lamp. Entirely original including the shade and finial, the overall condition is very good. The brass and bronze have mellowed to a rich, amber patina. There are no dents to the shade or base, but there are minor areas of discoloration to the finish--but nothing the detracts from its overall presentation. The photos tell the story.
Although not signed, this lamp is well documented. There is a Janetti label on the underside of the lamp. This was a retailer based in Rome and Florence.
This lamp is extremely well made, heavy and beautiful--it will be like a piece of jewelry for any room.
