Michael Andersen Ceramic Art Nouveau Table Lamp with Oxblood Glaze

About the Item

Rare and early Danish modern stoneware table lamp form the 1930s - displaying exceptional techniques in oxblood/sang de boeuf glazes, subtle Jugend/Art Nouveau styling and shape. Michael Andersen's son Daniel won the gold medal at the World's Fair in Brussel in 1935. This piece was designed by him. Stamped: MA&S-Denmark - 152. Mounted with its original porcelain and brass fitting - electrically restored with new and secure wire. Measurement: Height 12 inches (30 cm) with out bulband shade, diameter 6 inches (15 cm). This piece comes without the shade. Please personalize with your own pick.
