About the Item

From a distance this lamp looks like its made of bronze. However its all ceramic that has been applied with a verdigris green glaze to its vertically fluted body. This rare table lamp base was made by Michael Andersen in Denmark during the late 1930s in a style reminiscent of Arne Bang and Just Andersen. The makers mark from Michael Andersen is pressed in relief to the inside of the base. The condition is very fine. No chips, cracks or repairs. Only slights ware beneath the base .Please notice that it comes without the model Shade. Please personalize with your own pick.
