Rare, vintage 1980s Anglepoise Model 90 desk lamp by Herbert Terry. It has a wonderful patina showing its age and history. All the contrasting black springs work perfectly allowing the lamps to be articulated into any position and so showing off its amazing design capabilities! A true design classic epitomising Mid-Century industrial retro chic. Model Apex 90 - 1980's design Brand Anglepoise 3 Spring lamp Switched push button on shade Colour dark red Material metal and lead base Bulb not included For Bayonet bulb Uk plug Push button switch on shade, metal body with lead base, warm red colour. Perfect for desks, studies, living areas, bedroom, B&B’s, hotels, Boutique Hotels, restaurant, retail display, advertising or television prop. The Anglepoise lamp, a British invention that puts all other lighting in the shade Terry publicised the Anglepoise by emphasising both the precision with which its beam could be focused on a particular area and its energy-saving potential.
