Mid-Century Czech Minimalist Table Lamp from Pokrok, 1960s

About the Item

Rare Mid-Century table lamp from the Czech manufacturer Pokrok. The design convinces with its clear construction. The form and materiality is characteristic of minimalism Czech lights from the era. The housing consists of a grated, black painted metal sheet. The front and sides are covered with a suitable curved plastic diffuser. In the profile, the fine metal sheet of the housing is hardly visible. The luminous body has been raised with two metal floors. There is a pressure switch on the back. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. Someone has immortalized themselves on the back. This piece has an attribution mark. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
