Mid-Century Minimalist Swiss Clamp Table Lamp by Rosemarie and Rico, 1950s
About the Item
Minimalist clamp table lamp from the Swiss manufacturer Baltensweiler based on a design by Rosemarie and Rico Baltensweiler from the 60s.
A functional design in a very objective design language. The lamp head consists of a simple aluminum cylinder with a white reflector shade. There is a perfectly fitted pressure switch on the top of the head. The head sits at the end of a finely crafted arm. The arm is angled at the top and has a joint. The arm is pivotally mounted in a simple clamp holder. The light can be aligned in different positions using the various joints. The lamp is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. Have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
