The porcelain base shows only minor nicks (shown in the detail photos provided) but showing no chips, cracks or other damage whatsoever. The original lampshade does show some minor stains which can be seen clearly in the detail photos provided so we do recommend replacing the shade upon delivery. The functioning lightbulb seen in the photos is included with the lamp. This aesthetically captivating table lamp is functional, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use.
