About the Item
This is a good size, sculptural acrylic and chrome table or desk lamp designed by Atelier A. The curved acrylic base sits on a chrome foot which holds the light fitting, Circa 1970`s, French.
Atelier A was a creation of Francoise Arnal in 1969 as an loose artists' collective designed to expand the boundaries of design. It was dissolved in 1975. Many important designers of the period collaborated under its banner, such as the celebrated artist Arman, Ruth Francken and Pucci de Rossi.
