Mid-Century Modern Table Lamp - Giulia Mangani - Sèvres Style Porcelain Bird
About the Item
Magnificent luxurious table lamp of a tropical bird with a large gilded bush.
Created by the Italian brand Giulia Mangani, circa 1960-1970
The bird and pedestal are made of porcelain and bear a sèvres style stamp on the back.
The tree/shrub is made of copper and can be bent into any desired position.
Elaborated down to the smallest detail, the trunk of the bush is full of grooves to make it look realistic.
The lamp shade is from the same period, cream colored silk with a dark blue fringe.
The lamp is in very good condition.
Dimensions: 40 x 30 cm and 65 cm tall.
Dimensions of the lamp base only, without shade: 24 x 21 cm and 65 cm tall.
The hight is adjustable.
