Mid-Century Modern Table Lamp in Lucite Plexiglass, Panton Style, Italy, 1970s

About the Item

Stunning table lamp fully made in clear lucite. This large and unique lamp was made in Italy during the 1970s, clearly in the style of Verner Panton. The body of the lamp is composed by a serie of thick cylinders made in clear lucite, 8 on the lower level, 6 on the middle and 4 on the top. The large round lampshade is also made in clear lucite. The end result is an an incredibly charming and unique object. The way the clear lucite aged, giving to the plastic material a touch of vintage beige/yellow is incredibly charming. The lamp is wired and tested and uses a single large E26/27 light bulb. This fantastic lamp is perfect to add a touch of uniqueness to a Mid-Century style or a space age project.
