About the Item
Timeless Table Lamps in ceramic design by Swedish designer Olle Alberious in the 60s.
Entirely made of porcelain and ornamented with organic designs in shades of blue and green.
About Olle Alberius:
Alberius was a Swedish designer famous for his works within ceramic- and glass design. He began his career at Syco in the 1950s before he was hired as a designer by Rörstrand (Lidköping) in 1963. Alberius stayed with Rörstrand until 1971 when he started at Orrefors Glassworks. At Orrefors he designed tableware and got famous mainly because of his development of art glass in the ariel- and grail technology. Olle remained faithful to glassmaking for the rest of his career.
