Mid-Century Space Age Flexible Rubber Hose Table Clamp Lamp from Cosack, 1960s

About the Item

Rare Space Age table lamp of special materiality. This draft impresses with the unconventional use of materials from other areas of application. In particular, the use of a rubber hose is to be mentioned as a shaft. At the top of the lamp there is a polished reflector screen. At the bottom a chrome tube with integrated table clamp. The hose shows a complex rib structure and is stabilized via a transparent acrylic tube. The special function of this light lies in this combination of the flexible tube element and the rigid tube. The light head can be pulled upwards. Outside the pipe, the shaft becomes flexible and can be aligned. The cable is carried and stopped by a large acrylic ball as a stopper. The table clamp is a simple neckline in the lower end of the tube. The screw of the clamp has a wide head that is designed to be shaped by the same way. The lamp is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. The surface was polished by an artisan. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
