The Eclipse M Table Lamp, designed by Luis Pérez de la Oliva and Pedro Martín García for Fase in 1966, is an extraordinary piece of mid-century modern lighting design. This rare and highly sought-after model is one of Fase's most distinctive creations, combining elegant proportions with functional innovation.
Standing at 57 cm tall with an impressive 43 cm diameter lampshade, the Eclipse M features one of the largest lampshades in Fase's collection. The shade is made of durable plastic and is encircled by a warm wood stripe, adding a touch of natural elegance to the sleek design. Inside the shade are four bulbs (maximum 25 watts each), controlled by a dimmer on top, allowing users to adjust the light intensity with ease.
The base and central stem are constructed from chrome metal, providing stability and a striking contrast to the wooden accent. This specific lamp has been completely restored and re-chromed, ensuring a flawless and vibrant finish that honors its original craftsmanship.
Patented in 1966 under both Luis Pérez de la Oliva's and Pedro Martín García's names, the Eclipse M remains one of the most difficult Fase models to find, making it a prized addition for collectors and design enthusiasts.
