MidCentury Space Age Model Saturno Table Lamp by Kazuo Motozawa for Staff, 1960s

About the Item

Rare table lamp version of the Saturno von Staff according to a design by the Japanese designer Kazuo Motozawa from the 1970s. Here in the rare version in white. The most striking element of the Saturno designs are the slats that form the luminaire body. These steer the light on the side of the lamp and thus stages the shape and structure of the lamp. Depending on the direction of view, the luminaire body looks more transparent or closed. Have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
