Midcentury Wood and Brass Tripod Lamp, European

About the Item

A midcentury table lamp with a central stem of turned wood sections, on a brass tripod base. Found in Belgium, designer unknown. Good vintage condition with age appropriate signs of use including minor losses to the lacquered finish of both the wood and the brass. The tone of the wood is mid-brown - as shown in images 4 to 8 - and the aged patina to the brass has been left as found. Wiring & Bulb: The lamp has been rewired in recent years for UK regulations, with a switched lamp-holder taking a standard bayonet bulb, as shown in image 5. We advise testing and rewiring as necessary in the country of install prior to use. Shade not included. Approximate dimensions: Height to top of lamp holder as shown in image 4: 50cm or 19.7 inches Diameter at foot of tripod: 24cm or 9.4 inches.
