About the Item
Elegant burnished brass desk lamp attributed to Giovanni Michelucci and made by the Lariolux company in the 1940s for Italian institutional and ministerial environments. This model, iconic for its restraint and functionality, is distinguished by the arched line of the arm, the adjustable joint, the large flattened dome with raised edge, and the original push-button switch on the circular base. Made entirely of metal, it has a beautiful period patina. The diffuser is 22 cm in diameter, the base measures 16 cm in diameter, and the total height is 41 cm. The lamp is in good state of preservation and working order, but rewiring according to the electrical regulations of the destination country is recommended. Rare and sought-after object in the Italian historical design market.
