From the nightstand in your bedroom to the credenza in your office, Exigen’s small footprint is perfectly at home in every room of your house. Although compact in form, Exigen’s ceramic COB LED engine provides for a large and dramatic presence with its thin, elegant splays of light. Your walls are the perfect canvas for the tall and striking visual splashes engendered by the bold, retro geometry of its interchangeable straps sets.
Exigen’s shade has multiple material (Italian Leather/Finnish Cotton) and color profiles that range from rich and lush to bright and vibrant. Swappable solids and patterns to match your every whim. Exigen is the perfect reflection of its owners’ tastes and sensibilities with its unique visual textures. Change your light as often as you change your mood!

mnima llc designs and manufactures bespoke lighting and other well-considered objects. With a background in art, engineering and technology, founder and principal Steve Holzgraefe leads the company in its mission to produce goods that will become lifetime artifacts. All of our products are made in the greater Minneapolis - St. Paul metropolitan area. Driven by a strong sense of place, our design language is particularly informed by the Nordic heritage and culture endemic to our home state of Minnesota. For those who appreciate subtle form and quiet detail, mnima offers a delicate interplay of soft light and sharp shadow. Crafted with mellow precision, each piece from mnima complements well-appointed rooms with graceful poise and sublime restraint. A natural accompaniment for tranquil spaces, lighting from mnima speaks in hushed but captivating tones. In helping to gently curate modern surroundings, our diffuse profiles reward, but do not require your attention. We differ from most in that we start with large billets of aluminum and remove that which is not a light. Our fixtures are realized much in the same way sculptors carefully reveal figures embedded in monolithic blocks of stone. With an eye towards refined simplicity and balanced asymmetry, each brushed metal body stands on its own as an objet d’art even when not lit. The addition of discreet, indirect illumination provides the ideal counterpart to our minimal shapes and surfaces.
