Exploring the balance between positive and negative spaces this table lamp evokes a Mid-Century aesthetic design with a contemporary look, bringing to any interior a handcrafted and unique piece.
The lampshade is paired with a beautiful minimalist hand-crafted wood base that shows off the natural character of the wood. This design combines clean and curvilinear forms to create a timeless table lamp that provides a warm and soft glow for a relaxing ambient light. Each piece is handcrafted by us at our woodshop and screen printed at our textile studio.

The base is finished with Danish oil to preserve the natural look and beauty of the wood and for a low-luster. Wood is a natural material; variations in grain and color may occur.

La Loupe is an independent design studio, that creates handcrafted lighting and decor, founded by Jorgelina Lopez and her husband Marco Duenas.
Believing in the beauty and value of slow and sustainable production, their work seeks to explore artisanal processes with new technologies and creative concepts. The name of their studio ( loupe / lüp/: small magnifying glass) symbolizes the process of exploration and discovery, representing the visual attention they bring to their designs. With an aesthetic drawn from the 20th-century art and design movements, geometric forms and clean lines are reflected in the pieces they craft. Each piece is created and handcrafted by them at their textile studio and woodshop in Baltimore City, Maryland - USA
