Modernist Hand Blown Murano Smoked Glass Table Lamp with Scalloped Detailing

About the Item

This stunning modernist table lamp was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a semi transparent smoked Murano glass with three orbital spheres with a braided surfaces spaced between circular discs with scalloped borders. The piece ascends from a channeled conical base. With its monochromatic palate and beautiful glass quality, this lamp would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. It comes fitted with a custom shade. Italy, 20th century Measures: Height: 34.5" x diameter: 10" Diameter of Shade: 13".
