Murano Glass Iridescent Lamps
About the Item
Pair of lamps, Italian, from the island of Murano made of clear glass spheres and base with an iridescent tone. The light reflected from the surface of the glass reflects off as colors of the rainbow. It is obtained by exposing the work in progress on the end of the blowpipe to the vapors produced by burning quick-melting salts of tin, titanium, and other metals. This pair has been newly wired to fit US standards.
