About the Item
Neoclassical Style Table Lamp with Gilt and Ebonised Finish
A tall and decorative neoclassical revival table lamp, dating from the late 20th century.
Constructed from a combination of carved wood and composite materials, the lamp features an urn-shaped centre flanked by stylised acanthus scrolls, supported on a pair of fluted faux-column uprights entwined with laurel detail. The whole is finished in distressed gilt and ebonised tones, raised on a stepped circular base with moulded foliate ornament.
Fitted with a later square-form shade in cream and black with gilt trim.

Good decorative order. Light surface wear, small scuffs and minor rubbing to the finish in keeping with age and use. Electrically fitted with UK plug; PAT testing advised prior to use.
