Noverdy Art Deco Table Lamp, 1920
About the Item
A beautiful French Art Deco table lamp by Jean Noverdy, dating from the 1920s with a moulded frosted glass shade with a stylised floral motif, set on an elegant wrought iron base. The graceful design of the lamp reflects the intricate craftsmanship of the period, with a refined blend of metal and glass. Noverdy, a talented student of Mr. Dubret, produced exceptional glasswork in his workshop in Dijon, France, where he became known for his innovative use of glass and enamels.
Molded-pressed frosted glass shade. Rare design. The base of the lamp is designed with clean, geometric lines, typical of the Art Deco style, offering a harmonious and timeless aesthetic.
