About the Item
Beautiful Black 1930's Kaiser Idell table lamp. The model no. 6556 is one of the most famous table lamps in the world. Designed by Christian Dell it is typical for its time and has become an icon and almost a symbol of the German Bauhaus era. Black enamel paint on the outside and white on the inside of the shade, this lamp provides not only a fantastic look, but also excellent working or ambient light.
On and off switch at the bottom and adjustable arm and shade. Gently restored with new paint and fixtures according to the period of the production. This lamp is in excellent condition considering it to be almost a 100 years old.
