This desk light was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1950s and produced by his own company, Hans-Agne Jakobsson A. B. in Markaryd, Sweden. This light is made of a solid green lacquered metal shade and a wooden base. Due to the huge shade and indirect light bulb, the light creates a warm and diffused light atmosphere.
This item is in its all original condition with slight traces of use and patina.
The original producer tag is still the base of this light.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
