Pair English Aesthetic Movement Gourd Vases, Now as Lamps Attributed Doulton-Lambeth Pottery Circa 1880 This exquisite pair of English Aesthetic Movement Gourd Vases, now repurposed as lamps, is attributed to the renowned Doulton-Lambeth Pottery, circa 1880. Each vase is crafted in an organic gourd shape, standing an impressive 31 inches tall to the finials, 21 inches to the sockets, and 16 inches to the top of the vases, with an 8-inch diameter. The vases feature a beautifully textured, high-relief design, hand-painted with intricate floral motifs in neutral earth tones, reflecting the artistry and craftsmanship of the period. Although not disassembled for confirmation, the vases are believed to be the work of Doulton-Lambeth, a hallmark of quality in English pottery. The lamps are completed with later brass harps and organic gourd-shaped finials, harmonizing with the vases' original form. These lamps offer a unique blend of historical elegance and modern functionality, making them a perfect addition to any discerning collector's interior.
