A very fine pair of French 19th century Napoleon III Empire style patinated-bronze and gilt-bronze Mounted Allegorical covered Urn vases lamps in the manner of Pierre-Philippe Thomire (French, 1751–1843). The ovoid campana-shaped patinated brass urns, surmounted twin handles with satyr masks and allegorical gilt-bronze Empire style female mounts, both raised on a square rouge royal marble plinths surmounted with Empire style female figures and insignias (Now converted to table lamps - electrified). Circa: Paris, 1870-1880.
