Pair of 19th Century Louis XVI Style Ormolu, Tole and Saxe Porcelain Lamps
About the Item
A charming pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu, tole and Saxe porcelain lamps. Each lovely two arm lamp is raised by a circular mottled ormolu base with a fine berried laurel and palmette wrap around bands. Above are beautiful vividly colored hand painted Saxe porcelain flowers amidst wonderful tole leaves. Each arm displays most decorative pressed gilt metal foliate candle cups. All original gilt throughout.
