About the Item
A wonderful pair of Scandinavian Modern unique table lamps made at Désirée stoneware workshop in Copenhagen in the 1960s. The lamp bases are handmade in relief decor with an amazing expressive glazing. Both lamps are signed. Equipped with white flax linen shades.
The Désirée workshop was founded in 1964 by former director of Bing & Grøndahl, Copenhagen, H. C. Torbøl and existed only for a short time. They were primarily producing porcelain and little is know about the production of stoneware.
