Pair Of Bronze French Empire Style Candelabra Lamps/ Restoration
About the Item
Pair of cast bronze French Empire column form candelabras with 6 lights, now mounted as double socket lamps. The lamps with gilded columns and foliate and anthemion capitals, fluted wheat shafts with laurel leaf wreath and resting on a tiered plinth base. The lamps with double sockets having bead pull chain operation, adjustable finials and old silk covered cords with on/off switch.
Dimensions: 10 1/2" W, 34" H, 5 1/8" sq. at base
Condition: The lamps have been tested and are in working condition however the cords are dry and flaking and should be replaced. One bobeche cup is missing but barely noticeable. The bronze and gilt are slightly dull. One lamp is missing the felt covering. While some level of restoration maybe desired, the Pair retain an elegant presentation.
