A pair of elegant Art Déco "Boule" table lamps in the style of J.Adnet. France.

About the Item

A pair of elegant Art Déco "Boule" brass table lamps in the style of Jacques Adnet and Baccarat. France 1930s. The lamps are a rare design with beautifully crafted brass feet and heavy round glass bodies. Jacques Adnet designed this type of table lamps for the Baccarat company in the 1930s. These models are newly electrified and are offered with two lampshades with leopard patterns as an accessory. The shape of the fabric shades is somewhat unusual but since the lamps are often used in film rentals, the film company preferred these fabric shades because they fit in well with the scenery. Most Jacques Adnet table lamps have a new smaller fabric shade, so replacing it is not a problem. The specified height refers to the base of the lamp. Slight signs of use in the brass due to age. The "Boule" glass is in good condition.
