Pair of Glass Nautilus Lamps
About the Item
Molded clear glass nautilus shells on black marble slab bases. Clear glass shells have a very pale green tint when not illuminated. These glass shells are, we think, Italian and date from the mid twentieth century. We had the black marble bases cut, polished and drilled, and then had them wired with in-line on/off switches. The lamps take small candelabra base bulbs. Marble bases measure 3/4" thick, 16" wide and 7" deep. Glass shell shades are 14" wide, 4" deep and 10.5" high. Total height of lamps is 11.25".
