A pair of Italian 18th century carved wood altar sticks made into table lamps. This pair of Italian table lamps has been fashioned from antique altar sticks with gesso and old paint over carved wood. They feature beautifully carved bodies with leaf motif throughout. Standing almost 3 feet in height, they are long and slender with heavier triangular-shaped bottoms raised up on three small feet. They are exquisitely aged with lots of nice chippy bits. These light fixtures have been wired for the US. This pair of table lamps from 18th century Italian altar sticks would look fabulous flanking either side of a console table, perhaps with one of our lovely mirrors hanging between.
