Pair of Mid-Century French Tôle Palm Tree Table Lamps (circa 1960s)
About the Item
Pair of Mid-Century French tôle palm tree table lamps (circa 1960s). Discovered in the South of France, they are delightful and uplifting nature-themed table lighting fixtures with rattan-wrapped trunks and rattan shades. Supporting the lamps are round bases from where the wires extend. They are both functional and whimsical at the same time, sure to bring a smile to anyone entering the room in which they are placed. The lamps are in fair overall condition. The rattan wrap has some loose ends, blemishes and threads and the shades have some unevenness due to age and use. The light metallic bases have signs of wear, scratches and nicks. With all that in mind, the wear is characterful and a testament to their vintage status.
