Pair of Midcentury Brutalist Table Lamps for Laurel Lamp Co.

About the Item

This sculptural and dynamic pair of Mid-Century Modern lamps were designed by Harold Weiss and Richard Barr for the illustrious Laurel Lamp Company in the United States, circa 1970. Forged in lustrous chrome- offering the appearance of quick silver- they feature a curvilinear swooping form full of energy, verve, and motion. They sit on austere and Minimalist rectangular black enamel bases which offer a clean, geometric counterpoint to the amorphic form of the body. With their clean modernist lines and neutral palate, these gorgeous table lamp would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired and are in excellent condition. The lamps come fitted with custom shades. Excellent condition, American, circa 1970 Dimensions: 38.5" H x 5" D x 7" W (each).
