Pair of Murano Glass Globe Table Lamps 'circa 1970s'

About the Item

Pair of blown Murano clear glass globe table lamps (circa 1970s) in the style of Paulo Venini. Modernist and elegant, these blown glass globe lamps provide a source of lighting which is both functional and decorative. The stripe effect was ahead of its time in terms of capturing and amplifying light's interaction with glass. Lamps rest on a brass-covered base. In good overall condition. There is an age-related patina on the brass-covered base and minor blemishing on the bulb holder inside the globe. Please see accompanying photos for details. Rewired for UK use. Upon request, a video may be provided. Dimensions: Height 23 cm / 9.1" Diameter 20 cm / 7.9".
