About the Item
A matched pair of Murano glass table lamps by Vetri, Italy, dating from the 1970s. Each lamp is hand-blown in cased white opaline lattimo glass with a continuous twisted spiral pattern that gives a striking presence when unlit and a warm, diffused glow when illuminated. The bodies sit on brass-plated bases with matching collars, both showing an attractive vintage patina. The lamps retain their original dual-circuit wiring, allowing three lighting options: the inner body can light up, the top socket can be used independently, or both together, all operated by the original inline push switch. The neutral white glass and gold-toned accents make them versatile for a range of interiors, from mid-century to contemporary. Both lamps are in very good vintage condition. The brass-plated hardware displays natural age-related spotting and patina, while cords and switches show light yellowing consistent with age and use.
