About the Item

A pair of brass post lights from a decommissioned ship with Fresnel lens. Mounted on a teak base with a 9" diameter. These have been rewired for American use and take two standard base light bulbs. The teak base is custom made for these lights and an on-off switch added to the base. The body of the light itself measures 7". These were originally used outside and can be used in or out as it is a closed system. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The antiques and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts & Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized. The Lockhart Collection is a notable and trusted resource for many interior designers and movie production companies. An affinity for the sea, spirit of adventure, a discerning eye and a belief in keeping life interesting, informs her style and therefore the collection. Deborah sources quality, one-of-a-kind and distinguished pieces; found both domestically and abroad and has done so for over 30+ years. Located on Nantucket Island.
