Pair of Nautilus Study Table Lamps in Cast Bronze by Christopher Kreiling Studio
About the Item
The Nautilus lamp in lamp is inspired by midcentury Italian design.
It is cast bronze and weighs up to 28 to 30 lbs. The outer shell has a blackened patina and the face is high polished to a mirrored finish and waxed.
The Nautilus illuminates by a three-way touch sensor anywhere on the body.
The face, only being waxed, will take on the fingerprints of its owner. Time is noted by its markings and continually changing patina. A deep brown fabric covered cord is at the centre back. A 60W medium base filament bulb is recommended. Please note that the touch dimmer switch only works with 220V and does not support LED bulbs.
The Nautilus works well in pairs as bedside table lamps, on dining room consoles, as well as multiples on a bar top, and was featured on the cover and included on three pages of Ellen Degeneres's 'Home' book.
