This rare pair of Space Age table lamp is build out of aluminium which was polished afterwards.
The lamps are probably designed and made in New York in the 1980s.
The top part of the lamp can be swiveled. As well the lamps are dimmable.
A unique piece which is a great eye-catcher for your antique, modern, space age or mid-century interior.

The Space Age or space age is the epoch of technical progress since the middle of the 20th century.

The beginning of the Space Age is generally equated with the launch of the first Sputnik satellite on October 4, 1957. However, the term "Space Age" was already used shortly after the end of World War II in Harry Harper's book Dawn of the Space Age and referred to the altitude record of the German V2 rockets in 1944.
